Michael Kuran - Vocals, Drums, Percussion
A.K.A - "Spark-Plug"
Born & raised in the windswept nether regions of bucolic northeast
Wisconsin, Kuran was exposed to music at an early age. It was evident
that Kuran was built to rock...and the music world took notice.
Mike's earliest memories, as written in an expose by Hunter S. Thompson,
consisted of years of visual abuse at the hands of a deplorable
Green Bay Packers squad & a steady intake of Led Zeppelin, Three
Dog Night & Uriah Heep.
Early on, Kuran was forced into athletics when his father became
concerned that his only son's favorite pastime consisted of prancing
around their house in a too-tight New York Jets jersey, wearing
his sister's red lipstick. After years of masculine immersion therapy,
Mike found his second love, Miller Lite. Kuran then went to college,
formed a band & drank more Miller Lite. Those in Mike's inner-circle
have said that the band, Full Service, declined contract offers
from such labels as Polygram & Delicious Vinyl in order to stay
true to their music. This confused many as Full Service was a cover
band.
Kuran has also played in a host of bands that include such acts
as Petting Zoo, Cheeky Monkey and Funny Farm. Along with a penchant
for mammalian monikers, fans have rollicked to the untamed sounds
of these historically important super groups. Now Kuran is back
with a new creation that includes an all-star roster, a new name
& a new attitude. Saucy Jack is here to give the fans what they
need... A stiff shot of rock!
Bio written by the bitter recluse Ash Richardson.
